Per-chair rates, Grade A condition, on collection. Same prices UK-wide. BACS in 3 working days. No haggling on the day.
We publish every per-chair rate we pay because the alternative — making you ring up for a number — wastes everyone's time. Below is the full UK price list as of 2026. Prices apply to Grade A condition (clean, fully functional, no rips through mesh, all arms and adjustments working, castors fitted). They are the same UK-wide; we do not do regional loadings or volume haggling.
Three things to know before reading the table:

Got a chair not on the list? We may still buy — Humanscale Freedom, Boss Design Kruze, Senator Crew, Wilkhahn ON, Allermuir at premium task chair tier. Use the calculator and pick "Other" or just WhatsApp us a photo.
The £70 gap comes down to three things: secondary-market demand, refurb cost, and resale liquidity. The Aeron Remastered (post-2017) is still in production at Herman Miller, retails new at ~£1,400, and resells refurbished at £450–£600. The Classic (1994–2017) is no longer in production, retails on the second-hand market at £300–£450, and refurbishes for slightly more in materials per chair (the original tilt mechanism wears differently, the pellicle pre-2008 is a different weave). The £70 difference is not arbitrary — it tracks our actual unit economics.
The same logic applies down the list. Vitra Eames Lounge at £1,600+ reflects a £4,000–£8,000 resale market for authenticated examples. Steelcase Leap V2 at £100 reflects a thinner secondary market than Aeron despite the chairs being roughly comparable in build quality. Orangebox Do at £40 reflects a workhorse contract chair with a steady but low-priced resale demand. We do not pretend these gaps are arbitrary — they reflect what the buyers in each segment actually pay us.
We benchmark against the other UK office-chair buyback operators every six months. As of 2026, our headline rates for Aeron, Aeron Remastered, Embody and Vitra Soft Pad sit at the top of the UK buyback market — typically £20–£40 per chair higher than the next-best published rate for premium models. The reason is operational: we resell direct to home-office buyers and start-ups via our own channels rather than through a wholesale tier, which lets us pay sellers more.
On lower-tier chairs (Sayl, Think V2, Orangebox Do, Vitra ID Chair) our rates are competitive but not headline-leading. The maths only works at scale; for single-chair home-office buyers we often suggest a peer-to-peer route rather than buying.
Three factors can lift the firm quote above the published headline:
We are equally explicit about what does not change the rate. Negotiation does not — we publish prices openly so the conversation can be about logistics, not haggling. Geography does not — same prices in London, Edinburgh, Cornwall. Volume below 50 chairs of the same model does not (we run weekly van routes anyway). Promised positive Trustpilot reviews, recurring-business hints, or appeals to a broader relationship — none of it shifts the per-chair number. The published rate is the rate.
Most quotes are confirmed within an hour. Most collections happen the same week. The whole thing should feel easy — that's the point.

Anywhere in mainland UK. Single van or full clearance crew — we do all the lifting.
BACS within 3 working days of collection — often same-day on smaller jobs. Final quote confirmed against photos.
The prices listed are headline rates for Grade A condition. Final firm prices are confirmed against photos within an hour of submitting an enquiry — and the firm quote is what gets paid, no surprises on collection day.
Grade A — fully functional chair, all adjustments work, no rips through any mesh, no broken arms or castors. Light cosmetic wear is fine. Grade B (visibly used but fully working) typically prices at 70-80% of headline; Grade C (broken components) drops to roughly £40 per chair as we strip for parts.
Yes — same headline prices in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, anywhere. We don't do regional pricing or city loadings. Logistics costs are factored into the offer separately if a job requires special handling (high floors without lifts, very remote pickup, etc.).
Per chair — every line item is quoted individually. A mixed batch of 30 Aerons and 12 Leaps is priced as 30 × £180 + 12 × £100 = £6,600 (Grade A). One pickup, one BACS payment.
Three factors: secondary market demand (what buyers pay for the refurbished chair), refurb cost (parts, labour, time), and our margin. Premium models like the Aeron Remastered have higher demand and lower per-unit refurb cost relative to value, so they get the highest headline prices.
Thirty seconds for a number. Three days to a BACS transfer — often same-day on smaller jobs.
