This site is operated by CDC Trading Limited (trading as We Buy Office Chairs), a company registered in England and Wales. Registered office: Haresfoot Farm, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, HP4 2SU. We are the data controller for any personal data you submit through this site.
When you use the quote form we collect: your company name, contact name, email address, phone number, collection postcode, your indicated collection timeframe, and any notes or photos you choose to attach. We also collect the chair details you specify (model, quantity, indicative total).
In the background, the only measurement we run is advertising measurement via Google Tag Manager — and only if you press Accept cookies on the choice screen when you first visit. If you decline, no advertising or analytics cookies are set. Full details, including how to change your choice, are on our cookie policy page. Your IP address is briefly visible to our hosting provider for the technical purpose of serving the page and rate-limiting abuse, but is not stored by us.
We use the information solely to:
We do not use your details for marketing. We do not sell or share them with third parties for marketing.
We process your data on the basis of (a) your request for a quote — taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract — and (b) our legitimate interest in operating an honest buyback service. If you go on to sell us chairs, we then process the data under the contract for that sale.
Your enquiry is delivered to a small number of trusted processors so we can actually receive and reply to it:
These processors only see the minimum data needed to perform their function and are bound by their own data-protection terms. None of them use your details for their own marketing.
If we don't end up doing business together, we delete your enquiry from active inboxes and internal logs within 12 months. If we do collect chairs from you, we retain a record of the transaction for 6 years as required by HMRC.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; ask us to correct it; ask us to delete it; ask us to restrict or stop processing it; and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

The site is served over HTTPS. The form payload is sent directly from your browser to our server and on to the processors listed above. We do not store form submissions in any other location and do not back them up to third-party services.
If we materially change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page. June 2026: we added Google advertising measurement, gated behind the cookie choice screen so nothing is set without your say-so — and we'll take the same approach with any future change.
