Free · pre-sale · 1–3 working days · no obligation

Free pre-sale valuation — know what your office furniture is worth before you decide to sell.

We assess your office furniture and send you a written, itemised valuation — what we’d pay, broken down by category. Free, confidential, no obligation. If you decide to sell, the figures become the buyback offer. If you don’t, the document is still yours and the rates hold for 30 days.

What's in the document

A clean, itemised number you can act on

Itemised valuation by category

Chairs (by brand and model), desks, storage, soft seating, IT — each line with a fair-market resale figure for grade-A condition.

What we'd actually pay

Not just an academic figure. The numbers in the report are what we will buy at — so the valuation doubles as a firm offer if you decide to go ahead.

Optional photo schedule

For larger sites we walk the floor and tag items in a photographic schedule, so you can sense-check the figures against what's actually there.

Translates straight to a buyback

No bait-and-switch. If you decide to sell, the document becomes the offer — same numbers, same line items, same total.

Who it's for

Six common reasons clients ask before selling

Compare offers from multiple buyers

Got a couple of scrappy quotes? Use a documented valuation as the benchmark — it tends to flush out the lowballs quickly.

Plan a refurb / new-furniture budget

Know how much resale credit will offset against the spec for the new office, so finance can sign off the net number rather than the gross.

Selling in tranches across a project

Down-sizing across multiple floors over a quarter? Lock in the per-line rate now, so each collection runs at the same price.

Internal sign-off / business case

Finance teams want a documented figure before approving disposal. The valuation is a clean number you can paste into the paper.

Decide what to sell vs what to clear

Mixed-quality estate? The valuation tells you which items carry resale value and which are better sent through clearance — so the segregation is easy.

Lock in the rate before fixed dates

Got a fixed handover date but flexible decision-making? Get the valuation now, decide later. The figures hold for 30 days.

From request to PDF

Four steps. Free both ways.

  1. 01. Tell us what you'd like valued

Photos, measurements, rough counts via the form, email or WhatsApp. For larger estates (200+ items) we'll offer a free site visit; smaller jobs are usually fine off photos.

  2. 02. We assess (1–3 working days)

Run through your inventory, cross-reference our own buyback rate sheets and recent comparable sales, and build the categorised valuation.

  3. 03. You receive a written valuation

PDF document — itemised by category, with what we'd pay against each line and a single combined number at the bottom. Yours to share with whoever needs to see it.

  4. 04. Decide — sell, hold, or come back later

If you want to sell, the figures become the buyback offer (same numbers, no surprises). If you don't, the document is still yours and the rates hold for 30 days.

Why sell to us

Three reasons.
That's it.

We've spent fifteen years buying chairs and clearing offices for FM teams who needed it gone yesterday. We've sanded the friction off this process.

£5m+

Cash, fast.

Paid out to UK businesses to date. BACS within 3 working days of collection — often same-day on smaller jobs. No invoicing hoops, no 60-day terms.

0

Hassle for your team.

We pack, we lift, we load, we leave. Your FM team gets photos for their records, and a single line on a P&L. That's the whole job.

100%

Diverted from landfill.

Refurbished and resold, or stripped for parts. Nothing fit for use ever sees a skip. ESG report-ready, weight + CO₂e figures included.

Valuation FAQ

Common questions about the valuation

Is the valuation really free?

Yes — for UK businesses considering selling office furniture in the next few months. There is no obligation to sell to us afterwards. We do this because (a) it gets us in front of real projects early, and (b) an honest pre-sale figure builds trust faster than a sales pitch.

How do you arrive at the figure?

For premium task chairs (Aeron, Embody, Leap V2, Vitra) we use our own buyback rate sheet — these have well-established secondary-market prices. For desks, storage and broader furniture, we cross-reference recent comparable sales from our own collections plus the wider commercial refurbishment market, condition-adjusted. Every line has a basis we can show you on request.

Site visit or remote?

For estates under 200 items, photos and a walk-around video are usually enough. For 200+ items, or sites with mixed condition where a sense-check matters, we offer a free site visit — usually a 30–60 minute walkaround. Either way, no charge.

Do we have to sell to you afterwards?

No. The valuation is yours regardless. If you do decide to sell, the buyback offer mirrors the figures in the report (no bait-and-switch). If you don't, the document is still yours and the rates hold for 30 days while you make the call.

How long do the figures hold?

We honour the valuation rates for 30 working days from issue. If you commit to sell within that window, the line-item figures lock in regardless of what happens to the wider market in between. Past 30 days, we re-issue at then-current rates (usually unchanged unless something has materially shifted).

What turnaround time should we expect?

Standard: written valuation back within 1–3 working days of receiving your photos / inventory. For sites needing a visit: visit within 5 working days, valuation within 2 working days of the visit. If you have a faster deadline (e.g., a board paper or a budget sign-off), flag it and we'll aim for it.

Is there a minimum size?

No formal minimum, but the valuation makes most sense for offices of 20+ desks (or equivalent). For smaller offices the time we spend on the document often exceeds what it's worth to you — for those, an informal email with numbers is usually a better use of everyone's time.

Can we use the valuation to benchmark other buyers?

Yes — that's a common use. Our document is detailed enough to compare line-by-line against any competing quote. If someone is paying meaningfully less than our valuation on premium task chairs (Aerons, Embodys, Leaps), they are usually relying on a customer who hasn't shopped around.

Is the valuation confidential?

Yes. We treat every valuation as commercially confidential. We won't share details of your office, inventory or figures with any third party without written permission. We can sign an NDA upfront if your legal team requires it.
