The Aeron Remastered is the post-2017 redesign — same silhouette, but 8Z pellicle (eight zones of variable tension), tilt limiter standard, forward-tilt PostureFit SL, and refined Y-tower geometry. It's currently shipping new from Herman Miller at around £1,400 a chair, so a Grade A used Remastered at our £250 buyback resells comfortably to home-office buyers and start-ups paying £450–£600. This is the highest-value used office chair we routinely buy.

Look at the mesh weave on the back — the Remastered has a smoother 8Z Pellicle in eight tension zones, while the Classic has a more obviously gridded pattern. The Remastered also typically has the PostureFit SL lumbar (a slim, dual-pad bow) rather than the original PostureFit pad.
